Tee off in Saskatchewan's Living Skies & Badlands

With over 200 facilities spread throughout Saskatchewan, you are likely able to find a picturesque course to swing the clubs no matter where in the province you find yourself. 

The Living Skies & Badlands zone is full of surprises – from native prairie grasslands and historic badlands to lively cities and campgrounds surrounded by lush greenery. Now, let’s talk golf…The courses within this area are beautiful and the pictures below prove it. Here are seven courses worth making the trek for a round (or two) of golf.

Long Creek Golf & Country Club

Avonlea - 18 holes

When it comes to a country club atmosphere at a public course, it's hard to top the Long Creek Golf & Country Club in Avonlea. This lovely 18-hole prairie valley course is hard to beat for challenging golf at a good price.

Willow Bunch Golf Course

Willow Bunch - 9 holes

Some call this course a secret paradise. Located in the Jean Louis Legare Regional Park, the 9-hole Willow Bunch Golf Course provides the scenery, wildlife and natural beauty of the valley. You'll want to turn around after 9 and play this course all over again. The great hospitality of small-town Saskatchewan is like icing on the cake.

Sask Landing Golf Resort

Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park - 18 holes 

Sask Landing Golf Resort, located on the shores of beautiful Lake Diefenbaker in Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park, offers 7,000 yards of championship golf. Large tracts of natural prairie grassland speckled with wildflowers and blooming cactus create environmental buffers for the fairways. Scenic vistas from nearly every tee box and green offer golfers breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding hills.

Harbor Golf Club

Elbow - 18 Holes

Situated on the bluffs overlooking scenic Lake Diefenbaker, Harbor Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course that offers an exciting challenge to all levels of golf enthusiasts. Beautiful views of the marina are visible from the clubhouse.

Sage View Golf Course

Palliser Regional Park - 9 holes 

Experience desert golf in the heart of Saskatchewan at Sage View Golf Course. Located in Palliser Regional Park, this natural, links-style course plays through the coulees carved alongside Lake Diefenbaker. The course is challenging and offers fantastic scenery for the golfers.

Chinook Golf Course

Swift Current - 18 holes 

Chinook Golf Course is a beautiful 18-hole golf course providing incredible fairways and scenic views as the course winds its way along the Swift Current Creek.

Elmwood Golf & Country Club

Swift Current - 18 holes

Elmwood Golf & Country Club is one of the oldest courses in Saskatchewan. A recent redesign by famed architect Les Furber added to what was already a fantastic layout. This premier course challenges seasoned players and provides a fun experience for new golfers who just want to enjoy their day.
