Saskatoon Fireworks Festival

Saskatoon September 2-3, 2022

The Saskatoon Fireworks Festival was created to bring a world-class fireworks event to the city. Beginning in 2008, the amazing festival saw almost 50,000 people come out and enjoy the fireworks and other activities. The festival weekend has continued to grow and develop into a recognizable and successful annual event.

Sunflower Art & Craft Market

Yorkton September 9-10, 2022

Yorkton's Sunflower Art & Craft Market is back for 2022! Don't miss the ultimate shopping experience. Artists and artisans, from here, near and beyond, will share their creations with an appreciative audience of fans. Dedicated volunteers donate their time, energy and innovative ideas to organize and present this fine art craft market annually, under the direction of the Yorkton Arts Council, in support of community programming. Event takes place on Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

 

Reel Rave

Waskesiu Lake September 9-11, 2022

Enjoy the fantastic, international film festival, Reel Rave, at the Twin Pine Cinemas in Waskesiu Lake. The festival features six award-winning films plus a Saturday night social at the Hawood Inn.

 

Broadway Street Fair

Saskatoon September 10, 2022

The Broadway Business Improvement District, in Saskatoon, is pleased to present the 38th Annual Broadway Street Fair. Transforming Broadway into a street fair, this event features a sidewalk sale, music and dance stages, silent auction, performers, food and art vendors and much more. It draws thousands to the street with an eclectic array of street performers, vendors, artists, musicians and dancers. Fair runs 10 a.m.. - 5 p.m.

 

Madge Lake Walleye Classic (MLWC)

Duck Mountain Provincial Park September 17, 2022

The Madge Lake Walleye Classic (MLWC), held on Madge Lake in the Duck Mountain Provincial Park, is a competitive catch and release, one-day fishing tournament that is both a qualifier for the national Central Walleye Trail and the wind-up for the three tournament Sask Slam. Held annually on the third Saturday in September, the MLWC draws anglers of all skill levels not only from across Saskatchewan but the rest of the Prairie provinces as well. Being a one-day event, this tournament is definitely family- friendly, with lots of youth and mixed teams taking part. The tournament is open to 80 teams.

 

Back in the Boreal

Meadow Lake Provincial Park September 17, 2022

If you love hiking in Saskatchewan, but are new to hiking in the backcountry, this event is for you! The Boreal Trail in Meadow Lake Provincial Park is Saskatchewan's premier backcountry hiking destination, with over 130 km of trails to explore. The day will be filled with exploration and learning, beginning with an education session, followed by a guided hike. We will finish off with a debrief and social hour.
