Whether you’re a couple that likes to stay active, be entertained, or keep it chill, there’s something for everyone at Frost Regina. Check out a variety of free and paid events, including ice skating, horse-drawn wagon rides, a fire show, a travelling circus, and even an after dark dance party!

Friday Evening
Start your Friday evening off right by taking your date to Glow presented by SaskTel at REAL. Snag your passes online in advance or pick them up at the door when you arrive. Experience a captivating light display full of fairytale magic, wander through the enchanted forest, find the magic pumpkin carriage, ride the train, and be sure to snap a pic at some of the incredible photo ops along the way. Catch one of the all-day performances on the Glow Stage and fuel up with a wonderful array of tasty food and beverage options onsite.
Round off an eventful night by treating yourself to a stay at The Hotel Saskatchewan, Autograph Collection. This sophisticated and historic hotel in the heart of downtown Regina is perfect for a romantic staycation in the city. While you’re there, don’t miss the Circa 27 Whiskey Tasting! At 5 p.m. in the Circa 27 Lounge, a train whistle blows, and the hotel staff read the fascinating story of Saskatchewan’s history and the tie to bootlegging. Then, they pour and offer free shots of local whiskey to everyone in the bar.
Saturday
Get ready for a full day of Frost activities! Start your day with a breakfast fit for a Queen at the Hotel Saskatchewan. Then, head over to the Wascana Hub by 11 a.m. for your first activity.
11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Skating at the Rink on Wascana. Grab your partner and go skating on Wascana Lake, free of charge!
12-1 p.m.: Horse-drawn Wagon Rides. Take a romantic horse-drawn wagon ride (for free!) with Prairie Percherons.
1-2 p.m.: Head over to REAL and stop in for lunch at the SGI Chalet at the Harvard Studio 620 Lounge. Come in from the cold and warm up with a cosy drink or bite to eat before heading back out into the winter fun. Come and go – all are welcome. Free area (no ticket required).
2-2:30 p.m.: Glow Light Show. Located in Viterra Centre – Hall C, this dazzling light experience will have you in awe and provide tons of picture-perfect moments that are sure to be Instagram-worthy!
3:15-4:15 p.m.: The Travelling Circus. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show! Watch the talented performers work their magic at this stunning event.
5-6 p.m.: Stop in to Bar Willow Eatery for delicious food and an amazing view overlooking Wascana Lake.
6:15-7:30 p.m.: After supper, head Downtown and check out the incredible local art and snow sculptures unlike anything you’ve seen before. Don’t miss the augmented reality exhibit, which explores the relationship between digital media and physical environments created by the University of Regina Creative Technologies students.
7:30-9 p.m.: As the evening sets in, make your way over to the Warehouse District and grab a limited-edition Frost Beer or spiked cocoa from the Insta-worthy Warehouse Ice Bar. Snuggle up by the firepits or stay warm by challenging your date to a game of crokciurl!
9 p.m.-12 a.m.: Frost After Dark Dance Party. After a few drinks, grab your partner and get your groove on with the After Dark Dance Party! The perfect way to end a full day at Frost.
Sunday
Begin your day with a touch of nostalgia as you arrive at Union Station Restaurant + Bar in Casino Regina for a truly unique brunch experience inside a charming train car. Enjoy a warm atmosphere and delicious food. After breakfast, stay Downtown for more excitement. Show your date your sophisticated side by visiting the Poetry Hut, a unique AI art installation that explores what ‘Home’ means to local members of the community through poetry. Go skating at The Rink @ City Square – Pat Fiacco Plaza, and warm up with hot chocolate in the warming tent. On February 4, the last day of Frost, finish off the evening with a bang by watching the fireworks at Confederation Park! Does it get more romantic than that?!
