Trail enthusiasts will experience excellent hiking, mountain biking and canoeing opportunities at The Battlefords Provincial Park. The park boasts two major hiking trails - the Lakeside and the Cacti and Cranberries Interpretive trails - as well as a 4 km long mountain bike trail.

The Lakeside Trail (1.5 km) provides breathtaking views of Jackfish Lake and runs alongside the Jackfish Lodge Golf & Conference Centre before ending at the park's south campground.

The Cacti and Cranberries Interpretive Trail also boasts outstanding views of Jackfish Lake and is a more challenging hike that features a large hill. The travel time required for this self-guided nature trail is about 20 - 30 minutes.

The mountain bike trail is designed for more advanced riders and provides several rest areas along the way. The park's trail surfaces vary from natural terrain to gravel and range from beginner to advance in difficulty. Meanwhile, canoe enthusiasts will enjoy the sights and sounds they'll discover while paddling along the pristine Jackfish Lake.
