The Nokomis District Museum & Heritage Co-op features "Junction City 1907" - a replica of an early 1900s boomtown Main Street. The display includes a 1930 Chev, store, school room, chapel, library, post office, hospital, newspaper office and more. Reading room features extensive collection of photos, books and family histories of area settlers. Rooms are dedicated to Masonic Lodge, Orange Lodge and Legion. There is also a wildlife display in the museum.

The museum hosts its summer market every Tuesday 3 - 7 p.m. from July to September. A variety of vendors and artisans offer everything from Watkins to earrings, cards, doughnuts and baking, and seafood, while the museum serves hamburgers with homemade buns, patties and relish.
