Located in a restored 1908 heritage building, the Herbert CPR Train Station Museum features railway artifacts and a model railway system. Onsite displays include a settler's cottage, a rural school, and vintage railway vehicles like a snowplow, caboose, and boxcar. Visitors can enjoy tours, "Faspa" (a traditional Mennonite afternoon lunch), souvenirs, history books, and tourist information. Stop by to stretch your legs and take a tour of the museum. Enjoy their breakfast or lunch specials (supper on Mondays). The coffee is always on, and Patti’s fresh daily pies, delicious with ice cream, are not to be missed. Come for the history, stay for the tall tales.
