The Mossbank & District Museum features a country school, early settler items, furnished settler's home, tools, antique equipment, former Mossbank Hospital and barber shop/hair saloon artifacts. It also preserves the legend of the Old Wives Massacre.
The museum oversees the Ambroz Blacksmith Shop, Saskatchewan’s oldest functioning blacksmith shop that is still located on its original site. A designated provincial heritage property, the blacksmith shop offers live demonstrations throughout the summer.
The museum also features a tribute to the RCAF No 2 Bombing & Gunnery School with a mural and Second World War artifacts. Located east of town, this school was one of the most important training sites for Commonwealth pilots during the Second World War. During its operation, the school trained 6,241 bombers and gunners. The scale of the former base is still visible from the air - the concrete and runway still remain, and evidence of bombing conducted over Old Wives Lake is still prevalent.
A variety of events are held at the museum throughout the summer; see Facebook and website for details.
