Located in the heart of La Ronge's downtown area, Patterson Park offers a picturesque view of Lac La Ronge, making it a popular recreational destination for both locals and visitors throughout the year. In the summer, the park boasts amenities such as a tennis court, disc golf course, a floating raft at the public beach, beach volleyball equipment, a scenic walking trail, and inviting picnic areas. It serves as an ideal spot to observe float planes returning from their journeys to Saskatchewan's remote north. As the winter season arrives, the park offers opportunities to skate across the frozen lake or participate in a friendly game of shinny. A new addition for 2024 includes the construction of a dedicated sheet of ice for curling, conveniently located next to the skating rink, with curling rocks provided for enthusiasts to enjoy.
