Just a 30-minute drive from the full-service town of St. Walburg, Brightsand Lake Regional Park is a beautiful, 1,600-acre park that boasts a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities. The park's campground offers a variety of sites including group and seasonal, non electric, 15 and 30 amp sites, electric and water sites. Its amenities include shower house, concession, beach volleyball, trout pond, playgrounds, a large sandy beach, mini golf, picnic areas and 28 km of hiking trails with interpretive signs. The sand greens 9-hole golf course features men's and ladies’ tees and a great clubhouse with an outdoor patio, and the lake is large enough for skiing, sailing and canoeing.
Rentals include adult and youth paddleboards, kayaks for up to 3 persons, nature backpacks and disc golf equipment, pavilion, and cabins featuring two bedrooms, full kitchen with cooking utensils and dishes, full bath with shower and a hide-a-bed in living room.
