This fall, Meewasin is excited to be collaborating with Odla Restaurant & Market on a one-of-a-kind experience. The event begins with a private hike through the native prairie at Beaver Creek Conservation Area, led by award-winning Agrologist and Grassland ecologist, Renny Grilz. Following the hike, dine on a delicious, locally-sourced, three-course dinner prepared by Odla, featuring Saskatchewan beef. During dessert, you’ll get a chance to get up close to a live sheep and stock dog demonstration and hear about how Meewasin uses targeted grazing to manage the prairie ecosystems in the river valley.

Meewasin's Naughty By Nature offer combines some delicious local food and beverages with a tour that takes a light-hearted look at what happens in the river valley after hours. Start the evening with a make-your-own cocktail experience featuring Black Fox #3 Gin and local plant ingredients. After your cocktail, join a Meewasin Guide on the trail for an entertaining evening that explores the mating and courtship strategies of the wildlife at Beaver Creek Conservation Area. Following the tour, gather on the deck overlooking Beaver Creek and enjoy an individual charcuterie box from Style & Graze, paired with a beverage from either 9 Mile Brewery or Stumbletown Distilling.

The Meewasin Valley is an iconic feature of Saskatoon. With the Meewasin Valley Authority Waling Tours explore the river valley in downtown Saskatoon and learn some quirky facts about the rich history that exists along the riverbank. Designed to connect with visitors and locals alike, this tour is a chance to discover the city in a fun new way!
Tours are available July 5 to September 23 on Wednesdays 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. This is a small group experience and is limited to 20 people per tour. Tour distance is 2-3 km on paved trail. Guests should expect to be outdoors and walking/standing for approximately 1.5 hours. Guests with limited mobility; please contact Meewasin at 306-665-6887 to discuss the route and see how they may be able to accommodate you.
