Kronau Heritage Museum
Located in a restored 1912 church, the Kronau Heritage Museum features a permanent exhibition showcasing the community's early settlement in southeast Saskatchewan plus rotating exhibits. The exhibitions tell the stories, both past and present, of the region, using storyboards, artifacts and photographs relevant to the current exhibit. A restored historic, two-room school house is also on site, and provides year-round space for various classes and programs hosted by the museum. Small tour groups are welcome.
The museum's outreach program, "Museum in a Suitcase" is delivered to schools, senior residences and hospitals within a 50 km radius for those unable to visit the museum in person.
Open Jun 1 to Sep 1.
