The City of Yorkton boasts plentiful parks and green space,​ providing both locals and visitors a great way to get out and enjoy the city's scenery. Ravine Ecological Preserve and Logan Green are two of the largest park areas in Yorkton, with the Ravine Ecological Preserve presenting natural and untouched features and Logan Green offering paved pathways, activity spaces, a trout pond and more.

Ravine Ecological Preserve: Encompassing 20 acres with 2.8 km of walking trails, this nature preserve located on the west side of Yorkton offers a serene hiking trail that traverses a variety of habitats including grasslands, aquatic areas and aspen parkland. A 500-ft. floating boardwalk that allows you to cross the marsh, gravelled pathways, a frog pond and an arboretum with trees native to Saskatchewan add to the trail's interest. The Dulmage Farmstead, a municipal heritage site, can also be found along the trail with remnants of its buildings still visible. Ravine Ecological Preserve is open year-round, though trails are not ploughed and maintained during the winter. Fishing is not permitted in the preserve.

Logan Green: This space along the south edge of Yorkton is the city's largest park and is home to the Hearts in Motion Pathway, a 6-km paved and lighted pathway that is perfect for walking, jogging, cycling, skateboarding and more. This pathway is also wheelchair accessible. Logan Green includes unique backwash settling ponds, a trout pond, stream, botanical gardens, allotment gardens and six soccer pitches. The fully stocked trout pond provides a natural ecosystem with educational opportunities; a Saskatchewan angling licence is not required to fish the pond, but hooks must be barbless and live bait is not permitted. The City of Yorkton Cemetery is also located at the eastern edge of the park.
