There are two walking trails in the Pike Lake Provincial Park.
The barrier-free Lakeside Promenade Trail features a level, boardwalk surface and enables anyone to go for a stroll along the shore of the lake. The trail is an easy-going, short 750-m pathway with observation decks looking out over the water. It begins at the day use area west of the pool and takes visitors to the mouth of the creek that feeds the lake.
The Gift of Green Nature Trail starts at the interpretive centre located beside the campground office. It's a wilderness trail that follows a 1.5-km loop through a grove of aspen trees, short-grass prairie fields and across some sand dunes.
