T&D Amisk Camp is a drive-in fishing and wilderness vacation camp open year round on the south shore of Amisk Lake, famous for trophy walleye and northern pike. It is located on the Canadian Shield and in the heart of the boreal forest.

The light housekeeping cabins sleep two to ten people, and have drinking water, electric lights, fridge, cooktop range and propane heat. A secure, sheltered marina with premium fuel sales as well as filleting service and ice supply are available. The shallow sandy beach offers great swimming, and canoes, kayaks and paddleboards are available for guests to use. Fishing licence sales along with bait and tackle, and a small store and gift shop are located in the lodge. ​Cabin only or Cabin and Boat packages are available.  

Hwy 167 to T&D Amisk Camp is plowed in winter, allowing you to enjoy a fun winter wilderness getaway. Several Winter Adventure packages are available featuring upgraded winterized cabins and a new central winter washroom and shower house. Activities include ice fishing for walleye, northern pike and burbot, snowmobiling on the local trails, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, northern lights viewing, star gazing or just simply relaxing.

Enjoy a relaxing two or three-night escape in a cozy cabin nestled in the boreal forest with T&D Amisk Camp's March Snowshoe Getaway Package. Unwind and marvel at the wonders of the night sky, where stars, constellations and even the elusive northern lights may dance before your eyes! After a peaceful morning, embark on a captivating two-hour guided snowshoe adventure. You can choose between the river-based Otter Adventure or the forest-based Rabbit Adventure. Explore the awe-inspiring Canadian Shield as you learn about its rich history, cultural significance, diverse wildlife, and the majestic winter forest of northern Saskatchewan. Return to your warm and inviting cabin for a peaceful evening before your departure the following morning. Alternatively, you can stay another night and enjoy a second day with a guided snowshoe excursion and peaceful evening relaxation.

Snowshoes are provided or bring your own. The starting price is for a two-night stay for two to four people. Three-night package also available. Both two and three-night packages are available for groups of two to four, six and eight people.

​Embark on an unforgettable 2-hour guided snowshoe excursion and escape from your everyday routine with T&D Amisk Camp. The Otter Adventure is an easy 2-km walk in the peaceful boreal forest and wanders along the picturesque shores of Amisk Lake and the Sturgeon Weir River. This forest and waterway provide an ideal habitat for various wildlife, including the playful river otter. You will follow their tracks, discuss their unique characteristics, and you may even catch a glimpse of one playing on the frozen river ice! Along the trail, you will also learn about the history and culture surrounding this famous waterway. The Rabbit Adventure is a moderate 2-km hike that follows the Rabbit Trail in the boreal forest and along the shore of Amisk Lake, then heads up onto a limestone ridge. As you snowshoe through stands of spruce, birch, balsam, tamarack, and willow, you will learn about the snowshoe hare, which calls the boreal forest its home. You'll discover how to identify its tracks, learn why it’s not a rabbit, and may even spot one hopping through the forest! After your excursion, you'll return to camp to relax with hot chocolate by the crackling fire.

All tours start at 1 p.m. No experience is required. Snowshoes are provided if needed at no charge - call ahead to book a pair. Bring binoculars and camera. No pets allowed.

Experience the captivating blend of learning about local prospecting era history, vibrant northern culture and abundant wildlife as you embark on T&D Amisk Camp’s 4-hour Historic Freight Trail Adventure. Starting your journey at T&D Amisk Camp, you will snowshoe with local historian Les Oystryk of Beaver City Tours to the site of Beaver City - Saskatchewan’s first and only gold rush community - and follow the footsteps of pioneers on the historic freight trail and the 110-year old horse and sleigh trail along the Sturgeon Weir River. Upon reaching the south bank of the river, your tour guide will discuss the fascinating history behind Highway 35, an iconic route that once connected Flin Flon to Nipawin. To wrap up your adventure, you will relax and enjoy hot chocolate and sizzling smokies roasted over a crackling campfire, before snowshoeing  back to T&D Amisk Camp.

This 4-hour tour covers ​​approximately 6 km over flat and uneven terrain with some elevation gain. Experience is required. Don't forget to pack your binoculars and camera to capture the adventure! Pets are not permitted. Pre-registration required. Tours kick off at 12 noon on January 26, February 16, and March 9.​

T&D Amisk Camp offers a great getaway for some winter ice fishing and snowmobiling on Amisk Lake with their March Ice Fishing Package. Fish for northern pike, walleye and burbot or snowmobile over to other nearby lakes for rainbow trout and tiger trout . Rate posted is for a 3-day/2-night stay for a group of up to 4 people. Packages for longer stays and larger groups also available; cabins can sleep up to eight people.
