The tranquil community of Eastend is nestled in the historic Frenchman River Valley, better known as the "Valley of Hidden Secrets". While visiting the community enjoy a tour of the renowned "T.rex Discovery Centre". The Centre is home to Scotty, the world’s largest T.rex, and recently voted Saskatchewan's Official Fossil. Also check out the Eastend Museum or gaze in wonder at the universe from the Wilkinson Memorial Observatory.​

Other attractions in the community include the Streambank Golf Course, Eastend Swimming Pool & Splash Park, Raptor Rounds Mini Golf, pottery studios, a variety of popular local eateries and the Friday Night Market that takes place late June to mid-September. ​Attractions in the surrounding area include the spectacular Jones Peak, the Chocolate Peak and the historical Chimney Coulee.​ Annual events include Dino Days Weekend and Big Flat Folk Fest. ​
