Saskatchewan is a playground for winter enthusiasts – especially kids. The season is perfect for snowy adventures and bonfires, marshmallow roasting and even camping.

The journey is always part of the adventure. Half of Saskatchewan's lodges are road-accessible. Drive-in lodges are an affordable option for those travelling with families or groups. Anglers are able to experience the remoteness of a fly-in lodge or fly-out lake without breaking the bank. 

In the summer of 2019, photographer Jeff Bartlett accepted an invitation to a mystery destination for a surprise adventure trip.
