Experience the stunning beauty of Meadow Lake Provincial Park, Saskatchewan's premiere backcountry hiking destination, on National Trails Day. Come out for a day of exploration and learning, starting with an education session led by local trail experts, Park Interpreters and Conservation Officers, who will share insider tips, tricks and fascinating facts about the Boreal Trail. Then, lace up your hiking boots for a guided interpretive hike on a section of the Boreal Trail. You'll pick up backcountry skills from your experienced guides as they teach you about the park's unique flora and fauna. Meet back at the trailhead for a debrief and share your experiences. The fun doesn't end when the trail does!
Event time 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. This event is suitable for ages 12 and over and is free with a valid Park Entry Permit. Pre-registration required.
