Open year round, Prairie Pro Outfitters has exclusive rights for guided fishing on the Rafferty Reservoir located just 10 minutes from the city of Estevan and the Canada/USA border. They offer daily guided fishing trips and multi-day excursions on open water or ice-fishing. Fish & Camp packages are available in Mainprize Regional Park located on the Rafferty Dam Reservoir. A winter fishing experience is also offered that includes accommodation in a winterized camper.
Prairie Pro is the first and only angling outfitter in Saskatchewan with an Angling Academy offering on-water instruction to beginners or experienced anglers of any age. Out-of-town clients will find comfortable and convenient lodging and restaurant services at the Days Inn in Estevan.
Rafferty Reservoir is a dam project on the Souris River that was completed in 1994 to help eliminate flooding of the Souris River. Roughly 35-meters at the deepest point, 56-km long and 1-km wide, it is located between the cities of Weyburn and Estevan in southern Saskatchewan. The reservoir is home to a fantastic population of walleye, northern pike and perch of all sizes including trophy-sized fish of all three species.
