    Black Fox Farm and Distillery was started by John Cote and Barb Stefanyshyn-Cote with the intent of connecting people to agriculture. Located just outside of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Black Fox is now among the country’s most well-known and well-respected craft distilleries. Acres of fresh fruit, flowers and grains are harvested and distilled into whisky, gin and liqueurs that tell a story of terroir and commitment to excellence. Through these spirits, opportunities are created to connect to land, to self and to each other.

    Like the black fox itself, this distillery is unique and unexpected. Traditionally crafted in the heart of the Canadian prairies, their process and passion produce exceptional experiences and quality spirits to be enjoyed. For upcoming events and booking availability, please visit their website. If just interested in popping out for a bottle, or two, no reservation needed, just stop by! On winter weekends, bundle up and enjoy our Saskatchewan winter days while sipping on a Black Fox cocktail on the outdoor patio (weather permitting) or stay cozy in their Whisky Dome.​ Black Fox Farm and Distillery also offers U-pick flowers, gladiola and pumpkins in season; call for more details.

In this light-hearted experience, you’ll learn about the mating and courtship strategies of the wildlife at Beaver Creek Conservation Area. This exploration of the risqué side of nature, coupled with a make-your-own cocktail experience featuring Black Fox Distillery’s Gin #3, is sure to get a laugh out of guests! Join Meewasin Valley as they lift the leaves on the birds and the bees.​
    Optional Add-Ons: Add a specially curated charcuterie box from Style and Graze and/or a local beverage from 9 Mile Legacy Brewing or Stumbletown Distillery to your ticket to cap off your evening! (Food available by pre-purchase only). All proceeds from this experience support Meewasin’s conservation and education programs, making this a sustainable experience in one of the Meewasin Valley’s most popular locations.
    This experience is limited to 24 people per tour, available on July 11 and 25, August 8 and 22, 2024 from 6-9 p.m. 19+ only please. Due to the natural features of the trail network, this experience is not considered accessible for guests with limited mobility.
