Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival
948 Spadina Cres, Saskatoon.
Take in a summer cultural paradise at the Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival on Saskatoon's banks of the South Saskatchewan River. The Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2025 with Fools & Kings from July 15 to August 24. 2025’s Fools & Kings programming features mainstage performances of A Midsummer Night's Dream: 1985 and The Tragedy of Richard II. The festival also includes free events and programming and the Players Series Spotlight - a genre-defying, world-colliding live concert that will bring Shakespeare’s songs into the contemporary context. See event website for programming information, updates and ticket details.
