Located in east central Saskatchewan, Springside is just 20 km south of Good Spirit Lake Provincial Park and 26 km northwest of Yorkton. The nearby freshwater springs, which long ago were a watering stop for travellers on the old prairie trails, gave the town its name. A small, clean and quiet community, Springside has a variety of community organizations and clubs, and businesses including Hotel California, Peggy's Canteen located at the Ridge Runner Arena, and China Diner specializing in Canadian and Chinese cuisine. 

The town also offers easy access to city amenities and is within driving distance of year-round outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, water recreation, golfing, camping, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.
