Term length for all summer positions is May through August.

  • Most parks student positions require some evening, weekend, and stat day work (these shifts come with additional premium pay).
  • Some positions may be available from July to August for high school students.
  • Staff accommodation may be available in park.

Summer Jobs Available in Sask Parks


Lifeguards (starting at $19.84 per hour)

Are you interested in being a lifeguard, swimming instructor or Aquatic supervisor in a Provincial Park?

Our outdoor pools are a great place to spend the summer, meet wonderful people, and work with a group of diverse individuals who value our parks and everything they have to offer. You will lead swimming lessons and keep visitors safe in the pool. Lifeguard certification (NLS - LifeSaving Society) is required.

Employment dates are June - August.

Locations:

  • Buffalo Pound Provincial Park (Close to Regina and Moose Jaw)
  • Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park (Southwest)
  • Pike Lake Provincial Park (Close to Saskatoon)

Park Interpreters (starting at $22.30 per hour)

Park Interpreters connect visitors to nature, creating memorable experiences in our beautiful provincial parks. As a Park Interpreter, you will deliver a variety of programming such as guided hikes, environmental education, recreational activities, historical tours, and help organize special events.


Park Gate Attendants (starting at $21.04 per hour)

Our campground offices and park entry gates rely on people with great customer service skills to greet and assist our park visitors with a friendly smile. You will greet visitors, sell park entry permits, and offer general visitor assistance.


Park Admin Representative (starting at $26.00 per hour)

This position supports the Park Administrative Supervisor and provides customer service for park visitors. As a front-line staff member, you will provide information to customers, process accounts payable and receivable and collect and process park revenue.


Park Maintenance (starting at $18.719 per hour)

Keeping our campsites, picnic areas and beaches in great shape takes a team of skilled maintenance staff, trades people and general labourers. Maintenance team members look after the general upkeep of our parks, including the grounds and buildings.


Park Ranger (starting at $21.04 per hour)

The friendly faces that help run the place! You will be responsible for day-time park patrols, campground checks and helping visitors learn about park rules and programs. Experience in resource management, environmental law, public relations/customer service and outdoor pursuits is an asset.
