Provincial Public Health Orders

There are currently no COVID-related public health orders in effect for Saskatchewan.

Domestic Travel

The Government of Canada announced the suspension of vaccination requirements for domestic and outbound travel, federally regulated transportation sectors, and federal government employees. The suspension has taken effect on June 20, 2022.

The change does not affect border measures that require all travellers entering Canada to continue to follow rules for entry. Other public health measures, such as wearing a mask, continue to apply and will be enforced on airplanes and trains.

International Travel

The Government of Canada announced the removal of all COVID-19 restrictions at ports-of-entry.

Effective October 1, 2022, all travellers, regardless of citizenship, will no longer have to:

• submit public health information through the ArriveCAN app or website
• provide proof of vaccination
• undergo pre- or on-arrival testing
• carry out COVID-19-related quarantine or isolation
• monitor and report if they develop signs or symptoms of COVID-19 upon entering Canada

Transport Canada is also removing existing travel requirements, including mask wearing on planes and trains.

The following measures are still in place until October 1, 2022:

Canada's borders are open to fully vaccinated travellers who meet entry requirements.

Travellers arriving to Canada from any country, who qualify as fully vaccinated, may need to take a COVID-19 molecular test on arrival if selected for mandatory random testing. Travellers selected for mandatory random testing are not required to quarantine while awaiting their test result.

All travellers continue to be required to submit their mandatory information in ArriveCAN (free mobile app or website) before their arrival in Canada. Travellers who arrive without completing their ArriveCAN submission may have to test on arrival and quarantine for 14 days, regardless of their vaccination status. Travellers taking a cruise or a plane must submit their information in ArriveCAN within 72 hours before boarding.
