A Park Entry Permit is Required

2022 Sask Parks Annual Park Entry Permits are valid until April 30, 2023.

Daily, Weekly and Annual Park Entry Permits can be purchased online or at the park upon arrival. See admin office to purchase.

Daily and Weekly Park Entry Permits can be printed at home prior to arrival at the park.

Annual Park Entry Permits purchased online MUST be picked up at the park in person. They will NOT be mailed out to customers.

Snow Maze

We have a-MAZE-ing news! Duck Mountain's snow maze is coming soon in the Fern Campground. So, grab your friends and family and get lost in a winter wonderland!

Biking

Pack up your fat bike! There's no better winter exercise than cycling through some snow. Duck Mountain has an incredible 12 km fat bike trail! Call the park for more details at 306-542-5500.

Enjoy snowboarding, downhill, and cross-country skiing all in one day at the Duck Mountain Ski Area.

Guided Programs

Join our Park Interpreters every Saturday at the Visitor Centre for guided programs.

There is always something fun in our parks this winter, from guided cross-country skiing and escaping the snow maze.

Ice Skating

Grab your skates and lace up! Duck Mountain's skating rink has room for everyone, from beginners to Olympians. The skating rink is located between the tobogganing hill and the Visitor Centre. A warm-up shack is available. Please bring your own skates.

Ice-Fishing

Bundle up and grab your tackle box because Madge Lake has awesome ice fishing! Ask staff about popular fishing spots. Fishing licenses are required for Saskatchewan residents aged 16-64. Purchase yours online or at the park Administration Office.

Kick Sledding

Launching during the holiday season, Prairie Rentals is offering kick sledding. This introduction to dog sledding teaches users how to slide across the snow on metal runners using their own strength. Winter adventure gear rentals are also available. Open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Stop by the Visitor Centre and grab your Duck Mountain Park Activity Kit (PAK)! Packed with fun activities and challenges, our winter PAKs are designed to bring the joy of play to your family this winter.

Snowmobiling

Load up your snowmobile and enjoy the fresh powder at Duck Mountain! There is 40 km of snowmobile trails available at the park. Pick up your maps at the park office or the Saskatchewan Snowmobile Association website.

Snowshoeing

Step into your snowshoes and onto the trails! 78 km of trails available at Duck Mountain Provincial Park are fantastic for snowshoeing.

Tobogganing

Let's get sledding! Duck Mountain's groomed tobogganing hill is located by the Visitor Centre.
