Halls & Shelters

Make the most of your Saskatchewan summer by spending time outdoors, connecting with nature and having fun by reserving a pavilion or recreation hall for your next group gathering.

Pavilions

Modern new pavilions are perfect for weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, and more. View the Sask Parks special event policy for more information on hosting a special event in the parks.

Pavilions are available for reservations one operating season in advance and are reservable up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Full-day reservations are available only. Check-in time is 11:00 a.m. CST. Check-out time is 11:00 p.m. CST.


Parks Offering Pavilion Rentals

Recreation Halls

Recreation halls are available for reservations one operating season in advance and offer tables, chairs and a washroom facility. Some also include kitchens for an additional fee. Recreation halls can be reserved by calling the park directly.

Recreation halls are available for booking in half day or full day time slots. You can make changes to your recreation hall reservations online. Recreation halls bookings can be made for more than one day at a time, with only one reservation fee and damage deposit charges for consecutive time blocks booked.

Picnic Shelters

Picnic shelters are available for reservations one operating season in advance. Many of our provincial parks offer picnic shelters that can be reserved prior to arrival. These shelters offer picnic tables, barbeques and/or wood stoves, and are within close proximity to washrooms and water taps. Some other parks offer non-reservable picnic shelters which are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Reservation Fees and Charges

Fees and penalties are based on the reservation type as outlined on our reservation site Fees page.

Reservation charges, change and cancellation fees, and call centre surcharges are non-refundable. Under extenuating circumstances, campers may be eligible for a refund of camping fees if the request meets the grounds for refund.

Changes or Cancellations

A Non-refundable reservation fee is charged per reservation: $12/online - $14/call centre.

Change and Cancellation penalties are based on the type of site reserved.

Depending on when a cancellation or change is made, penalties may apply. These penalties are applied as forfeited. If you change your reservation to a different Saskatchewan Provincial Park - it is still considered a cancellation.

Damage Deposits

A refundable damage deposit must be paid at the time of reservation. Damage deposits will be held by Sask Parks for the duration of the reservation and will be refunded if the site remains in good condition. In the event the reservation site is damaged, items included in the site are lost or missing, or non-compliance with the rules has resulted in loss, the damage deposit will be retained and used to remedy the damage or loss.
