Your Guide to Canada Day 2023 in Sask Parks

Celebrate Canada Day immersed in nature while taking part in fun and engaging activities. More than a dozen Provincial Parks will host Canada Day events on July 1, which means there are many opportunities for the family to have fun.

Spend the day doing crafts, playing games, and getting in the spirit of Canada Day. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Participating Parks

Join us for a day filled with cake, crafts, fun activities, and things to do.

Pick a Park to Explore the Canada Day Activities

Canada Day Agenda: 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Cake / Cupcakes
1 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Start the celebrations off with a sweet treat.

Come and go games, Canada Day temporary tattoos, and a Canada Day bingo game at the welcome tent
1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Art Hour: Shaving Cream Fireworks Craft
1 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Make your own firework art using shaving cream.

Beach Relays
2 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Race against teams to be the first to complete the Sask Parks Obstacle Race. The fastest team to complete the course wins!

Art Hour: Beaver Keychain Craft
3 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Create a customized Canadian Beaver keychain.

Second Annual Canuck Quest
4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

The main event of the evening! Using clues and directions, venture through the park on a quest to discover Canadian treasure.
