During over 40 years full-time in the outdoors, the province of Saskatchewan is a place in Canada that I have visited many times. One of my preferred species to pursue is the giant pike and there are several great places to find them throughout the province. One of my most memorable trips on the water last year was fishing with my daughter in the far northern reaches of Saskatchewan. In a single day we were able to land over fifteen world-class pike over forty inches in just six to seven hours, including one of my personal best fish, a 51” behemoth!
