Open to the public in 2000, the Tunnels of Moose Jaw are a year-round tourist attraction. At the Tunnels, the tours are presented as live theatrical experiences that utilize elaborate sets and multimedia presentations. These spaces fully immerse people into a story that transports them to the past; achieved within authentic surroundings and scripts created for each experience. Each tour takes place in its own unique space, and explores the history of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and Canada from three different time periods.
In Bunker 24, you are transported to 1958 during the Cold War. Here you will join the fight against the Communist Eastern Bloc. You are dropped back into the 1950s where you are a new recruit entering the first day of training. Do you have what it takes to succeed?
In Chicago Connection, you are bootleggers in 1929 and have come to buy booze from the Capone Organization. It is imperative to learn the tricks of the trade and stay out of the way of the local Police Chief Walter Johnson. After starting out at Miss Fanny’s Club you end up lost in a tunnel, somewhere underground.
The Passage to Fortune tells the story of early Chinese immigration to Canada. Witness firsthand their perseverance through discriminatory legislation, their part in the construction of the nation and them becoming an integral part of the mosaic of Canada.
