Come and Explore Ituna. There is a lot to see and do while visiting our thriving community. Start your adventure by strolling down Main Street and enjoying Millennium Park or stop to see a movie at the Ituna Theatre. Whether it's good food, great conversation or beautiful scenery, all can be found here. Be sure to stop by the museum and check out the 1917 GAAR-Scott Steamer or wander through CrossRoads Park dedicated to our agricultural heritage. Across the street you can wake-up your senses at Avena Gardens which is filled with 270 different types of roses, lilacs, shrubs, perennials and boasts the 30ft tall Oat Stem Statue.
Your journey will continue south on Main Street to the Community Fruit Orchard where 250 fruit trees call home. Keep travelling south on Main Street and you will come to a walking/biking path that takes you to our accredited Regional Park. Our park features a solar heated, junior Olympic-size swimming pool, electric campsites, baseball diamonds, a playground and a picturesque 9-hole, Par 34 sand and grass greens golf course with a modern clubhouse. Enjoy Friday night golf as well as Sunday afternoon tournaments each week. Each year the park hosts the Canada Day Celebrations with swimming, slow-pitch and fastball tournaments, face painting, great food and fireworks. Naturalists and hunters travel to Ituna from other provinces and the US as we are one of the best nesting grounds for waterfowl.
In 2014/2015, the community competed in the Communities in Bloom program and won provincially in their population category. Ituna was recognized for Community Pride and Hospitality with a special mention for Community Tidiness. Stay at the Ituna & District Regional Park or Ituna Motel to enjoy what Ituna has to offer.
