The village of Prelate is a small and quiet community in southwest Saskatchewan. Amenities in the village include a post office and​ village park. A short drive north will take you to breathtaking views of the South Saskatchewan River or south to the dunes of The Great Sand Hills. The historical Blumenfeld & District Heritage Site, located 16 km south of the community, is a must see for all tourists. The beautiful St. Peter and Paul Church was built by the early German Catholic settlers and opened in 1915. Annual pilrimage held in June to onsite grotto.
